Spiritual Sanctity & Significance

Kainchi Dham is a pristine mountain ashram established by Neem Karoli Baba in 1964 nestled between two lush green hills resembling scissors (Kainchi). Revered globally by millions including seekers, scientists, and world leaders (such as Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and Julia Roberts), it radiates supreme spiritual peace and pure devotion to Lord Hanuman.

Sacred History & Manifestation

Baba Ji first visited this secluded valley in 1942 with his companion Purnanand Ji. In 1962, the riverbank land was cleared and Maharaj Ji envisioned a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. On 15th June 1964, the sanctified Pran Pratishtha of Lord Hanuman took place, establishing the famous annual 15th June Kainchi Bhandara festival which attracts hundreds of thousands.
