Inaugurated on January 26, 1967 by Maharaj Ji, the grand Hanuman Setu Mandir stands majestically beside the Gomti River. Maharaj Ji referred to this Hanumanji as "the Governor General of all Hanumans" and "the wish-fulfilling deity". It distributes massive amounts of daily prasad.
Sacred History & Manifestation
When torrential floods threatened Lucknow in 1960, Maharaj Ji stood on the bridge over the Gomti, cast sacred offerings into the water, and predicted the floods would retreat without harming the city. The grand temple complex was inaugurated in 1967 in gratitude.
