The very village from which Baba Ji received his revered global name "Neem Karoli / Neeb Karori Baba". Here lies the underground meditation cave (Bhav Gufa) where Baba engaged in intense sadhana for 20 years, hand-carved a Hanuman murti, and performed the legendary train miracle.
Sacred History & Manifestation
Baba Ji arrived here as a young wandering ascetic named Lakshman Das around 1900. He dug an underground meditation cave in the fields. When an arrogant British train conductor ejected him at this station, the locomotive halted until officials begged his pardon. The British government built the railway station and the village became immortalized.
