Baba Ram Dass (Dr. Richard Alpert)

Spiritual Teacher & Author of "Be Here Now"

Former Harvard professor whose encounter with Neem Karoli Baba transformed him into one of the most influential spiritual teachers of the Western world.

Dr. Richard Alpert arrived in India in 1967 laden with intellectual skepticism. When Maharaj Ji revealed Alpert’s most intimate thoughts about his late mother, Alpert’s skepticism melted into profound surrender. Renamed Ram Dass ("Servant of Rama"), he returned to America to write the seminal book "Be Here Now", which sold over two million copies and inspired an entire generation toward yoga, devotion, and mindfulness. Until his passing in Maui in 2019, Ram Dass devoted every heartbeat to Maharaj Ji.
He didn't love me because I was good; he loved me because he was love.

Krishna Das (Jeffrey Kagel)

Grammy-Nominated Master Kirtan Wallah

American rock-and-roll musician who gave up a music career to sit at Maharaj Ji’s feet, later bringing the divine ecstasy of Hanuman Chalisa and Indian kirtan to stadiums worldwide.

In the late 1960s, Jeffrey Kagel turned down an offer to be the lead singer of a rock band to travel to Kainchi Dham. Baba Ji named him Krishna Das and instructed him to sing to God. For decades, Krishna Das has filled concert halls across New York, London, Tokyo, and New Delhi with the thunderous chanting of "Sri Ram Jai Ram" and the Hanuman Chalisa.
Maharaj Ji showed me that real love is inside us, and that love never dies.

WHO leader who led the successful global campaign to eradicate smallpox under the direct prophecy and command of Neem Karoli Baba.

Dr. Larry Brilliant lived as an ascetic at Kainchi Dham until Maharaj Ji repeatedly ordered him to go to New Delhi and join the WHO smallpox mission. Armed only with Baba’s blessing, Brilliant played a pivotal role in eradicating one of humanity’s deadliest plagues.
Maharaj Ji didn't just perform miracles for show; his miracles were acts of pure grace that cured humanity.

Sudhir Mukerjee (Dada Mukerjee)

Beloved Longtime Companion & Author of "By His Grace"

University professor at Allahabad whose home served as Maharaj Ji’s winter residence for decades, recording timeless intimate leelas.

Dada Mukerjee and his wife Didi were among Baba Ji’s closest Indian devotees. For over thirty years, Maharaj Ji stayed at their home in Allahabad. Dada authored the classic books "By His Grace" and "The Near and The Dear", documenting Baba’s daily divine conversations and miracles.
